Is known for its stunning white sand and clear blue waters. It’s perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and kayaking. The area is home to marine iguanas, finches, and occasionally, Galápagos tortoises. Bring light clothing, sunscreen, a hat, water, and a swimsuit.

Recomendation:  You can take a taxi that will leave you at the entrance to Tortuga, from the entrance to the beach it is a 45-minute walk. Wear comfortable walking shoes for the hike to the beach. Bring plenty of water and snacks, as there are no facilities on the beach. There are also speed boats for those who cannot walk far.

 

La Ratonera

Is a popular site for photography because you can see all the Puerto Ayora Town Shore.

Charles Darwin Station Beach

Is located near the research center and offers a relaxing spot with scenic views. Visitors can learn about conservation efforts and see giant tortoises. Bring light clothing, sunscreen, a hat, water, and a swimsuit. 

Recommendations: The best conditions to go are medium tide. Combine your visit with a tour of the Charles Darwin Research Station. Wear comfortable shoes for walking around the station. Stay hydrated and use biodegradable sunscreen to protect the marine environment.

 

Germans Beach

Or Playa de los Alemanes, is a serene beach with calm waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. It’s accessible by water taxi from Puerto Ayora. Bring light clothing, sunscreen, a hat, water, and a swimsuit.
