Galapagos Suites Hotel was founded with a simple mission: to offer travelers from around the globe a comfortable retreat while experiencing the wonders of the Galapagos Islands, all under the care of two local women.

Joseline Rhor, a determined entrepreneur, migrated from Quito to the Galapagos over three decades ago in pursuit of a better life for her daughters. With extensive experience in the tourism industry, she opened Galapagos Suites in 2009 alongside her eldest daughter. Her passion lies in providing guests with a memorable stay and facilitating unforgetable experiences on the islands.

Joseline Cardoso, her daughter, grew up surrounded by the unique beauty of the Galapagos. After completing her education in Santa Cruz, she pursued her dream of becoming a Naturalist Guide. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hotel Management and a Master’s degree in Tourism Management and Planning, she obtained her certification as a Naturalist Guide in 2005. Today, she shares her knowledge and love for the islands with guests, emphasizing the importance of conservation for future generations.
